Meet Our New NeuroCare Center Administrator, Seth Buckman

We’re excited to announce that Seth Buckman, LNHA, has joined Special Tree as our new NeuroCare Center Administrator! With 15 years of extensive leadership experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation, Seth brings a wealth of knowledge, fresh ideas, and a strong passion for helping teams succeed.

Seth is a results-driven leader with a proven track record of improving quality, strengthening five-star ratings, and growing census. His extensive background includes roles as Regional Director of Operations and Director of Rehabilitation for previous organizations, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both clinical care and day-to-day operations.

Most importantly, Seth is a hands-on leader who believes in being present and connected with his team. As our CEO, Joseph Richert II, shared:

“Seth brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach that will be instrumental as we navigate a new era of healthcare. He’s the kind of leader who leads from the front—spending time with staff in patient care areas to truly engage with our team. I’m confident his leadership will enhance our skilled nursing and rehabilitation operations, ensuring we deliver the highest level of care to our patients.”

Seth understands the importance of building a positive workplace while staying focused on quality and patient-centered rehabilitation—values that fit right in with Special Tree’s approach to care. As one of the few fully accredited and licensed post-acute neuro rehabilitation providers of its kind, Special Tree is excited to have a new leader bringing a fresh point of view as we continue building on our 52-year foundation.

Seth studied Long Term Care Administration at Ferris State University and also holds an associate degree in Occupational Therapy from Delaware Technical College. He’s had some impressive achievements, like boosting facility ratings, increasing patient numbers, and even snagging the Rising Star award in 2025.
