Kelly Long, MS

 

Kelly Long earned her Physician Assistant degree from The University of Detroit Mercy in 1999. She started her career at Special Tree and in Dr. Joseph Richert’s family practice after graduation and transitioned to full time at Special Tree when Dr. Richert retired from family practice in 2003. She specializes in developing and implementing patient treatment plans for medically complex TBI and SCI patient population including intrathecal baclofen spasticity management.

Kelly has been caring for our patient’s complex care needs since 2000. “I love belonging to the community of caregivers at Special Tree. Caring for patients has brought so much meaning to my life. Serving those affected by catastrophic injury is an intense environment but gives all of us the opportunity to make great impact in people’s lives.”
